Thankful for CM Councilman Jordan Huffman’s work on this nashvillescene.com/news/citylimit…. North Carolina funds and implements an effective beautification program. When Metro Council attended a conference in Charlotte I was impressed by how well NCDOT handles street trees and plantings in the city.

Congrats to The Basement East team upon opening new space, Lowbar, downstairs from the beloved East Nashville venue. Proud to have been a cosponsor of Metro Council legislation that eliminated parking minimums so that businesses like this could open or expand tinyurl.com/yc2zk52n.

Tough loss for the Cleveland Guardians but it was an exciting game. Fun to watch at the Nashville Scene 2024 Best of Nashville Sports Bar Beyond the Edge with a room full of fellow Ohioans. Enjoyed cheering w/the guy next to me from the Dayton area, also out supporting our Ohio team.

It’s a beautiful day to enjoy Shelby Park. Stop by the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center for the free Chestnut Group art show. A portion of art sales benefits the work of Friends of Shelby. The annual tickseed sunflower meadow blossoming is a favorite. Now you can enjoy it year round!
