Every time I see this chart I am amazed. ONE in SIX 55-64 year olds owns a second property. It's the flipside of low ownership rates among the young - they are renting from their parents' generation. The allocation of housing, not just the quantity, matters.

The Brexit bribe is pathetic in comparison to what UK regions receive from the EU. 💰 May's Stronger Towns Fund - £1.6bn over six years / £266m per year. 💰 European Regional Development & European Social Funds to UK regions 2014-2020 - £9.34bn over 6 years / £1.56bn per year.

I’d rather have a burgundy coloured EU passport than a blue coloured UK-only passport. I’d rather be an internationalist than an isolationist. Please retweet if you agree.

Do people understand that at a time of the worst recession for decades, if not centuries, our Government is willing to put up trade barriers and so further damage business and thus, jobs, incomes and livelihoods. #destroyinglives
