My first Twitter ever, and only because of the last two weeks (really two years) of democracy-upheaving events...

So where was this lost in the equation regarding our oath as citizens of the US- "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."...

I see neither allegiance, national identity, indivisibility, liberty nor justice in any of the decisions made over the last two weeks (or last two years). Our government simply no longer represents the people, only special interests...

I see nothing but weakness, cowardice, self-interest, and uncontrolled power dynamics at the core of recent government actions. The Kavanaugh confirmation completely justifies my rationale for this perspective...

I told family and friends in 2002 that a civil war eventually would occur based upon the divisive rhetoric building during that time both before and after 9/11. It is now happening...

So here we are…take action now to save our democracy as it is especially critical. Please vote!
