It has just occurred to me that a chunk of my #EnglishLang #GCSEresits students this year will be re-sitting only because they were failed by an algorithm. Oh wow. De-motivation and resentment on a whole other level 🙈😵

This is not fair. Students have been encouraged to return by the govt who said it is safe. It was never likely to be safe & their return has been a disaster and one which is expanding. Students should be at home, distance learning, on much reduced fees. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-543083…
