Our P7 classes enjoyed taking part in a first aid workshop with Gary from British Red Cross -Community Education (N.Ireland). They explored what first aid means and talked about different ways of helping. They also learned lifesaving skills such as the recovery position, CPR and how to use an AED.

Week 5 of our buddying training programme. Tonight our buddies engaged in First Aid Training, which enhanced their knowledge & skills around providing First Aid & how to manage and treat a variety of conditions until help arrives. Facilitated by Geraldine from British Red Cross

Primary 6 children learned some useful life skills during their First Aid sessions with The Red Cross.

Thank you to Gary from the Red Cross, who spent the morning teaching our Primary 7 pupils some basic first aid skills. They learnt how to put a casualty in the recovery position, how to administer CPR, and how to use a defibrillator. ⛑

Our P6 classes received resilience training on Friday from Gary Nugent, (British Red Cross). They learnt about breathing techniques, then worked in teams overcoming a series of challenges before constructing giraffes from building blocks.
