Here’s a snippet of Miserere Mei from Dan West arrangement of Four Motets by Raphaela Aleotta. She is thought to be the first female composer to publish a collection of sacred music, and we think they’re absolutely gorgeous. Thanks to Christopher Gough for stepping in on horn!

Wow, stunningly beautiful performance by Lomond Brass here of some Raphaela Aleotta arranged for brass quintet (and available to purchase on Resonata Music if you’re so inclined resonatamusic.com/?product=rapha…) 🎺

We’ve recently recorded some short pieces for this year’s Scottish Concert Band Festival. Hope you enjoy this clip of Suite Impromptu by André Lafosse, thanks to Christopher Gough for stepping in and Nigel Durno for recording us. More over the next few days!

Some rehearsal footage, this time some Werner Pirchner featuring some pretty fiendish trumpet and ensemble writing. Thanks again to Christopher Gough for stepping in on horn.

We were absolutely delighted to be involved in The Cumnock Tryst last night, our first concert to a live audience since the group’s formation in June last year. The audience were very receptive, thank you for having us!
