Most people don't realize they want to KEEP Daylight Savings Time and ELIMINATE Standard Time. Standard Time is what we are using now, where it gets dark extremely early. Daylight Savings Time is what we use in Spring/Summer where it is lighter later. KEEP DAYLIGHT SAVINGS!!!

It doesn't provide universal service. Universal service was supposed to be the pretext for granting it "exclusive delivery rights." It was always a bad and unnecessary idea, for the reasons monopolies usually are. Indeed, Canada Post has behaved in textbook monopolist fashion:
