Great post ! Ultrasound is not well integrated in standard undergraduate medical curricula. Introductory POCUS tweetorials like this helps us medical students so much! Keep them coming, Pulmonary-POCUS😀! #POCUS

Allison Fitzgerald, MD, PhD Write down everything - use lots of paper. Do what your RNs suggest. Talk thru everything with everyone. Do not plan anything else in life. Take 5 min a night to write down 1 thing you did well, what upset you, what you learned, and 1 thing you’ll do better.

#ABA Anesthesia Board Q’s love airway anatomy, probably for the sake of being comfortable managing an awake intubation. You need to know 3 nerves well: what they innervate and how to block/anesthetize them. 1. Glossopharyngeal 2. Superior Laryngeal 3. Recurrent Laryngeal

Intern year was one of the worst years of my life. I struggled with depression, loneliness, and hopelessness throughout the year. My mental health often took the hardest hit was when rotating outside of the ED. A thread. #Medtwitter TW: physiciansuicide, depression.

Brief reminder that the 3 different lumens of a 'triple lumen' central line are *not* equivalent in terms of flow rate. The distal (brown) lumen usually has a greater diameter and a much higher maximum flow rate than either of the other 2 lumens. (1/4)
