We took a post SLO math test because the district wants to see how much we've improved! Some of us finished our own island maps. We went to music & we learned a new Japanese song! RB's went to the library & then in class worked in Imagine Learning. After we finished we did Epic.

We saw the TSE. We looked at the chick development for the day. We did not do Pocket Day because it was the solar eclipse! We put on our solar eclipse glasses & we saw the sun. We saw the moon moving. It started getting dark. People were terrified and some were super happy!

A chick hatched this morning & it's now in the box! Some of us did Tap! Tap! research! We worked on Pocket Day & this time all of us had to include Ms. L's data! We took an SLO test in Ms. B's room! In PE we played a game & in Art we used stencils to make a textured background!

The number of the day it was 142 because we've been in school for 142 days. We worked on Measuring time where it asked us a question where we had to put S for seconds, M for minutes and H for hours! Most people worked on Tap! Tap! research! We learning about chicks!

We drew an ABCD drawing of the chicks and we are going to draw them in the middle and at the end before they get taken somewhere else to see the difference from day to day! Ms. R. substituted for Ms. B. and she was really good!

We held the chicks to observe so we can have more details on our 2nd ABCD drawing tomorrow. We worked on Mystery #. The # was 2,198! We worked on a story problem and it was about pepper plants! Our schedule was a little wonky because of STAAR testing.

We solved Tangy Tuesday puzzles! We went outside to observe the bluebonnets and see if the seedpods were ready to harvest! Some of us didn't finish Tap! Tap! research so some of us continued working. We did a story about Ms. L. and bunny cookies.

We worked on # of the day and the # was 147! Some people showed their 5 Pocket People presentation! We did an activity called Perimeter & Area with the chicks and we were also able to pet them! We had a crazy schedule today because 5th grade had a STAAR test. We labeled a clock.

We drew our 3rd ABCD drawing of the same chick because they'll go to new homes! We prepared our piece of the graph we are going to make on Monday for Earth Day! LB's went to the library & some read our books! We had fun Friday & we had Canva, IXL, math playground, ABCya & Epic!

We went to Music where LB's sang a song about chicks & their moms. RB's had a sub., Ms. H. & we played instrument BINGO & Dancing in the Forest! We finished our E.D. graphs. Tues. we'll go out in the hall & answer q's about it! We drew a flower to show how we can help the Earth!

We worked on Pocket Day #15 because Ms. L wants us to grow our brains bigger everyday! We read Scholastic News about seaweed helping the Earth because a girl found out we could make seaweed bags to pick up trash in the ocean! We received tadpoles, an Eastern Black Swallowtail...

We earned some caterpillars and Ms. L put them on our tables in a cup! We went to Marathon Kids and we watched a movie called "Meet the Robinsons"! We worked on IXL we had only one code. It was about -ed and -ing word endings!

We were supposed to have Pocket Day royalty but some people didn't finish their Pocket Day paper! We will have Pocket Day Royalty tomorrow.

We worked on # of the day, it was 152! We started an Earth Day project! We did another page of our observation journals of our caterpillars! We were supposed to do Pocket Day Royalty but Ms. L had a substitute in the morning!

We made a dot graph about how many times zookeepers fed different animals during the day. We looked at kids from the Brainy Bunch that designed their own toys. We are going to be talking about engineering soon! We saw Ms. P & we are going to write her letters sometime soon!

Some people finished their s.p. but some people finished yesterday. Some people finished their T!T! research. We made a Dot graph where we spun spinners on pictures of the face of the dice on each sixth. We had to put tally marks on each # to see how many times we'd get that #.

LB's went to Art and made oragami but some people just wanted to do free draw. Before that you are supposed to get your paper you just made and check on it and see if you want it. Some people finished it before and worked on free draw.

Some of the RB's finished watercoloring both their bug and their leaf and some RB's didn't.

We went to Marathon Kids and we had a choice to go outside and do some laps and then come inside or we could just stay inside. We did an ABCD drawing about our caterpillars who made a J-shape and some people's caterpillars made a J-shape and did a wobble dance!

We read a book called What Do you Do With a Tail Like This because we are learning about animal adaptations!
