Welcome back! We are so glad to be back in school. Our Smiles Giver Art Club met with Carol Oriol- Jones, the Food Pantry Leader today to make cards for our Food Pantry and Celebrate West Hartford event!

Today we celebrated Earth Day by making Earth Day posters to honor the achievements of the environmental movement and raise awareness of the need to protect Earth's natural resources for future generations. The Garden club will start beautifying Braeburn on Monday and planting!

Today we had a GREAT afternoon beautifying our 5 garden beds and planting sunflowers, edible flowers, a sensory garden with basil, mint, thyme, and a vegetable garden containing sugar snap peas, tomatoes and carrots. Thank you to parents & community programs for your help!

I had the BEST day with Principal Hoffman today! She did an outstanding job obtaining the goals she set for today: helping students, visiting all classrooms, laminating, finding the candy stash, providing students stickers for being on task, ringing the bell & announcements!

I had the BEST day with Principal Kennedy for the day!! She met her goals today with morning announcements, greeting parents/caregivers and students at the evening spring concert, greeting families before school, and bus check off after school!! She went to every classroom today

On Monday, May 22nd, we had a Hip-Hop Dance Party thanks to Bonnie Arcari and the support of our Parent Teacher Board! Even teachers and leadership joined in on the fun and had a staff Dance!

It was a wonderful experience attending the The 5th Grade District-Wide QUEST Type III Project Celebration and honoring and recognizing our Braeburn students!!
