I believe that the scriptures clearly teach, that in the end, all of mankind will be restored and God will be "all in all". 1 Corinthians 15:28

“ I don’t know if we’re there yet, but when we enter the era when the FBI or whoever can say that fundamentalist evangelical extremism is a domestic terror threat, then our government can do what it has to do”

Calvinist: God is able to save all but not willing. Arminian: God is willing to save all but not able. Universalist: God is both able and willing to save all and therefore all shall be saved.

In the 6th Century the Emperor Justinian I declared the doctrine of Universalism heretical. A number of people he deemed as heretics were executed in the Emperor’s very presence, some by burning, others by drowning. Not a good beginning for the doctrine of eternal torment.

If I told u that the only books I owned were history books, especially books on the Civil War. Would u think even for a second that all my history books were books on the Civil War? Then why do we do that with 1 Timothy 4:10? It is because of Colossians 2:8.

If a pastoral candidate came to your church and in the interview it came out he believes empathy is sin, tell me you wouldn't just wrap up the interview right there?

“He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.“ who is the “not ours only”? It is the elect!

The New Testament says that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. If hell is eternal then so are the works of the devil.

All of us will be tested with fire, but hell will not be "aiodios" (Romans 1:20). It will be "aionios" (Matt 25:41). "Aionios" (the word Jesus uses) is for an "age". It is not everlasting. Some people insist that hell has to be forever and ever! 1,000 years is not even enough.

Salvation is the work of God from start to finish. It begins with God drawing “all” to himself and it ends with every knee bowing and everyone confessing (give praise in joyful proclamation in the Greek) Jesus Christ as Lord.
