We are now in the #SeaTurtle intake "hot" zone — or should we say "cold-stunning" zone? Since 2000, only 5 cold stun seasons have started before this day. In fact, two cold stun seasons started on October 23 (2008 + 2010), and two seasons started on October 25 (2003 + 2004).

Got to check out some plankton under the microscope for the first time today - so many copepods and salps!
