Started reading a translation of Brother Lawrence's (pub in 1692) book "Practice of the Presence." Carmen Acevedo Butcher, a scholar of medieval texts, completed the translation. Made me recognize my need to be more attentive, which led me to create a simple, attention manifesto.

Operate out of an attitude of abundance, not scarcity. A scarcity mentality fosters hoarding, stinginess, jealousy and fear of loss. Believe there is plenty for everyone. Be generous. Be open-handed. Welcome competition. Lift others up. #DailyReminder
