3rd for me at South African Road Champs u23 and 6th overall, I’m very happy with how today went but I would’ve loved the National jersey. I am still very happy with how today went 175 km of pure hell. Looking forward to the year ahead

Not what I had in mind for the Herald Cycle Tour. Felt so good in the race and really disappointed with the outcome. I am beginning to realize I should be grateful the crash wasn’t worse and that there are plenty more chances coming. Time to keep the head up and keep pushing.

Recovery time now after Tour of Good Hope before my final prep for France. TOGH was good, I managed 2nd on the opening day. After being stuck in the sprint on day 3 I came away with 7th. I battled with mechanicals from day 3 until CTCT. Disappointing but it’s part of the sport.

With all the racing being called off, it’s time to put in some nice long rides and take a seat back and just enjoy riding, before tackling all the races when they start again. I do miss getting to race my bike though. Keep healthy everybody.

Lots of good quality hours going into training. Can’t wait to get onto a start line soon. Really miss racing my bike, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Beyond happy to have won my first race back since March. I can’t thank Jarred Salzwedel for tracking my training during lockdown and keeping me motivated. Lots of effort was put in while there was no racing, so I am very happy to have taken the win. Excited for the racing to come.
