What a pleasure to have Ian Beesley at our Bradford Memories group today. The perfect guest as he shared his memories of growing up in Bradford but also many anecdotes of the rich heritage and culture of the City.

“Hands, holding hands….” Today we held our Christmas lunch at Bradford Memories. We continue to provide a space for people to create happy memories & support people living with dementia. Thank you as always to Napoleons Bradford staff & volunteers that make it possible. 👏

A week of Christmas parties across both Bradford & Guiseley Memories dementia cafes. Over 140 hot dinners served. Singing, dancing, celebrating, crying & laughter. All important memories being created. Dementia will affect all of us at some point whether directly or indirectly.

A brilliant & welcome initiative. I know the #BCAFC Foundation & Club really helped Yorkshire Memories Cafe when we had to relocate for a few months. This brings another dedicated Dementia friendly group to the city for what is unfortunately a growing problem. However, support exists.

Sending all our best wishes to this new group. That’s both a Wednesday and Thursday sorted now 👍
