What an amazing time we had at Central Library hosting Poet Laureate Salaam Green's public reading of “Once Upon a Magic City” in honor of Poetry Month. Attendees received a complimentary book copy & posters of the book's cover, designed by Birmingham visual artist Micah Briggs.

Come make some boondoggles with us! What is a boondoggle? It’s a plastic keychain, lanyard, or bracelet made from braided plastic string. We will learn how to make boondoggle keychains! There will be weaving and knotting involved. Children 7 and under will need a parent partner
