A big day today as we celebrate Firefighter Chris Fry’s final shift at BFES! Chris leaves us after 27 years of exemplary service here with the department and 37 total years in the fire service. Congrats Fry Guy, it won’t be the same around here without you!

Firefighter Josh Belnap visited Loyalist College to speak to their Health and Wellness program about the firefighting profession and the various physical aspects of the job.

BFES lost not only a fellow brother, but a true leader who never wavered from his #IAFF union background. Jimmy I’ll wear those cuff links on your behalf now brother! Rest easy, we ll take it form here.

BPFFA 497 members took part in the Scruby Hockey Tournament today, an annual tournament pitting them against other teams of city employees. The boys played well today, Jim would’ve been proud!
