Meta and Google both launched standalone VR platforms in 2018.

Google abandoned Daydream after less than 2 years, while Meta grew Oculus (now Quest) to tens of millions scale.

Now years later, after the market is already proven, Google wants Meta to kowtow to its attempt #2?
