Whole school attendance continues to be strong this year. This is 96.7% - higher than the 95.8% UK average. Children arriving late for school has also fallen. And...13 classes this half-term achieved attendance of more than 97%. Thank you for your helping us make this happen

So far this school year our attendance is 96.0%. This is higher than the UK average of 95.4% it also ranks us 51 out of 155 Bradford schools. We are doing well but want to do better...every day counts! Well done to Cyprus Class in year 6 who achieved 100% last week!

Our COFFEE MORNINGS are starting again: Thursday New Cross Street 8.45-9.45am All parents are welcome!

Just before half term, our afternoon Nursery children from New Cross Street visited the allotment near Bowling Park and picked pumpkins. They then visited the different areas of the allotment, looking at the fruit and vegetables that were growing. #WeExceed

TUESDAY IS ODD SOCKS DAY!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated to our foodbank appeal. Some of our school councillors delivered the food to Bradford Central Foodbank. The Foodbank weighed our donations and we collected a massive 127.9kg of food which will provide 192 meals for families in Bradford!

Well done to Juniper Class in year 6 who achieved our top attendance with 99.6% - so close to getting the 100% they needed for either a movie afternoon or new game for their classroom. We had 7 classes with more than 97%, meaning they get an extra playtime next week

A behind the scenes sneak peek at filming with SHINE and Bowling Park Primary. What a fantastic group of children with such insightful ideas. We feel very lucky to work with such great organisations (plus, we got to be impromptu sound engineers which was a lot of fun!)

Ouch, no wonder my back’s sore looking at the way I’m holding that camera! Thanks to everyone at Bowling Park Primary. You were brilliant today. As were the fantastic Olivia and Fiona (sound engineer extraordinaire) from Story Project.
