1/2 - 18:33 - Bourne Fire Station Market Deeping Fire Station Spalding FireStation attended a chip pan fire on Plumpton Chase, Bourne. Crews used a hose reel and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.

2/2 - Working smoke alarms alerted the occupiers to the fire and enabled them to leave the property safely. Whilst leaving, they closed the kitchen door which helped prevent a much worse fire. As its #TestItTuesday, make sure you test your smoke alarms today!

12:09 Grantham Fire Station & Bourne Fire Station attended Tanners Lane, Corby Glen to a vehicle stuck in flood water. Crews used a rescue sled and wading poles to rescue 1 female from a car.

21:34 Bourne Fire Station attended High Street, Thurlby to a chimney fire. Crews used water backpack and hand tools to extinguish. Fire caused by a build up of soot within chimney. Ensure you have chimneys with wood burning stoves/open fire swept yearly to prevent a build up of soot
