This #ThrowbackThursday we recount last month when we opened our doors to schools. As part of Harwell Open Week, we held outreach events for students. Alongside other UK Research and Innovation research, students gained insight as to dark matter with our Boulby Underground Laboratory display.

#DuliaBio24 is under way! 🦠🔬 This week we're hosting DULIA-Bio 2024 - a conference on all things #Bioscience in deep underground laboratories... We're excited to hear about the fascinating current and planned bioscience projects from around the world... 🌎

Science and Technology Facilities Council STFC Particle Physics Selecting the most✨clean and radiopure✨material is essential in a rare event search to keep backgrounds as low as possible!

Managed to get 0.038% closer to the core-mantle boundary today - going 1100 m underground. What an experience! Fascinating environment and amazing facilities - many thanks Boulby Underground Laboratory for facilitating and hosting!
