(1) So today is the day that I was expected to have my first bowel movement. To say it was a struggle is an understatement as they expect the “movement” to be natural with out pushing (I assume as not to have my puss fall out) I am so happy to say at 6:03 PM EST she moved. 🙌🏻

(2) why you may ask is this an amazing thing? Before the surgery we are asked to do 2 enemas to clear all bowel out to prepare for not bowel movements for 5 days. They feed you generously here and I can’t say I’ve ever went 5 days without no.2 before n I will never again want to.

Tomorrow I will get my “lobster tail” (a common nickname for this bandage) taken off. GOOD BYE. But the real kicker is, I will get to see my Vagina for the first time. Granted she will still be sewn shut with a stint inside and a catheter but it’s progress!

I just stood in front of a mirror and I just saw my body and my vagina for the first time. I’m so beautiful. I’ve never felt so beautiful. For the first time in this ordeal I can look at all my pain and say it was worth it. Im so beautiful, I’m so happy.

Today was a roller coaster of emotions. My bandages came off but because of my blood clot I began bleeding AGAIN and was forced to lay in bed and ice instead of taking my shower. The bandage removal was gross the blood clot was huge and resembled canned cranberry sauce.

Regardless of the hardships this week had for me I finally can say it was all worth it. Tomorrow I get my stint out and hopefully my catheter. The moment I saw my body and saw my vagina, I broke. Because for the first time I didn’t hate my body.

Okay so my first dilation was a success , super easy! Yes a bit uncomfortable. But far less uncomfortable and completely painless compared to what the last week as been for me! I’m ready to conquer the world!

Today my roommate and I connected!I’m so happy! I think most people don’t realize, outside of performing and hosting, I’m really shy. I was a wreck all week always crying or in pain, thought I was the worst roommate and embarrassed to reach out. But we both love DRAG!!! ❤️

So dilating day 1 is a success. Uncomfortable yes. Terrible no. Proud I got the biggest one in that’s a good sign. Ultimately width can be gained or restored. Depth can’t, so always making sure it goes and hits the back wall of my vaginal cavity!

Dilating day 2 was off to a good start, was scared because there was 12 hours between my last dilation that this morning would be difficult but it wasn’t too bad.

Honestly Dilation takes a lot of time. In total roughly 2 hours each time. 4 x a day . It’s legit a full time job right now. But like every new employee , I’m on my best behaviour so fingers crossed I don’t get too comfortable and slack off. This is what my days look like…

I peed out of my vagina for the first time today it was so weird and actually easy, just sprayed though which was kinda gross but I mean she’s fresh. #bottomsurgery

My first day out of the after care home. I am wiped. I thought I could go to the pharmaprix and pick up supplies to take care but 40 minutes walking was too much for my body. I’m lying in bed now waiting for food. Tomorrow I will be smarter and keep resting and icing.

So I’ve been a bit spotty with my Twitter. Tbh I’m trying to gain control of chaos as I stay in an air bnb and I need to find a routine to maintain my rearranged private parts. It’s been hard being alone and trying to take care of myself . Something I never thought I’d say.

So it’s just over a month since my bottom surgery! This is what she looks like today. Keep in mind I still can’t shave my lower half until I enter 2nd month post op which is Tuesday 🎉 also she a bit beat up still but miles ahead of what she was 2 weeks ago!
