The Committee of Borne@Chiswick Regatta is saddened to learn of the death of Pauline Churcher. Pauline was a great support to our regatta, providing much of the commentary until quite recently. Our thoughts are with her family and friends.

The organising committee are currently hard at work on arrangements for this year’s Regatta. Saturday May 11th, save the date!

A reminder from the entry secretary to make doubling up and boat sharing clear when entering on BROE.

We are fast approaching capacity, get your entries in now to avoid disappointment.

Entries are currently suspended on BROE to give our draw team time to see how many crews they can squish into the day.

We apologise for the delay in issuing the draw. Those of you trying to access BROE to check on your entry status will be aware that the British Rowing web site is currently down. Hopefully this will be resolved quickly, to enable us to download to easyregatta

The draw is now completed and will be published later today. All crews accepted are now showing on BROE. This has been particularly challenging due to the large number of entries and uncertainty re the tides. We thank entrants for their patience.

The draw is now published on easyregatta and will be appearing on the MAA Boat Club website shortly.

The Organising Committee is aware that the Tideway is currently on yellow flag, and are monitoring the situation. We remain confident that we will be able to run the event as planned and refer coaches and competitors to our risk assessment document.

The Tideway has returned to green flag and the regatta will proceed with the full timetable. We’re looking forward to tomorrow’s racing (and cakes!).

Well done to all competitors at our regatta today, we hope you enjoyed it. A big thank you to the volunteers who make it work, umpires, caterers, admin, drivers and many others, we couldn’t do it without you.
