paying for serverless wall time is just normal when you don't know any better

but when Cloudflare Developers charges for cpu time, it becomes super apparent how cost prohibitive paying for wall time is, especially when most functions just do I/O

wrangler.toml feels a bit messy

For D1 it's `database_name` & `database_id` (which is UUID). For R2, just `bucket_name`, and for KV just `id` (no prefix and it's not UUID).

Say you want to modernize your org and introduce progressive deploys, feature flags, switch o11y vendors, etc. You could:

* roll each change out, one at a time
* change all at once, Big Bang style, migrating one service at a time

Has the Big Bang style EVER worked? For anyone?

Product-market fit is a critical goal for every startup. We developed the Arc PMF framework to help founders self-identify their path to PMF.

The framework outlines 3 distinct PMF archetypes, based on how customers relate to the problem you’re solving.

did we have to build this? no

is it considered typical 'observability'? no

did we do it anyway? absolutely!

all those details add up to the developer experience we want you to feel

feel the confidence that all times, if any changes in prod, we'll surface it to you

we're working on something cool

if in your error messages you have parameters like unique ids, dates, timestamps, etc...

we automatically scrub the unique 'thing' in the error message and save the result alongside the original error

now you can filter / group by this!

πŸŽ‰ In just a few months, I'll be joining the incredible team at Cloudflare as a Senior Systems Engineer! πŸŽ‰

I'll be building tooling to help other developers be as productive as possible with the Workers platform. πŸ‘·

πŸš€ This will be epic, and I can't wait to get started!

when dax showed off @sst_dev ion for the first time I had doubts - why would you move off the battle-tested cdk, and break everyone's app in the process?

but now I get it, this can be what terraform should have been, enabling any developer to develop and deploy any app anywhere
