A former two-way player who now focuses on pitching, Grant Aycock could transition to the UNCG Baseball rotation after posting a 4.59 ERA and a .218 BAA in 33.1 relief innings last season. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound righty was up to 94 mph with his fastball in 2024.
Limited to 123 plate appearances last season due to injury, luke holland made the most of his opportunities, hitting .343/.459/.657 with eight homers. He also stole 10 bases, giving him a skill set that could make him UNCG Baseball's best offensive player in 2025.
After splitting time last season, look for Jacob Dilley to be a workhorse behind the plate for UNCG Baseball. The sophomore has a strong, accurate arm and could be poised to make a jump at the plate after hitting .276/.374/.382 in 2024.
.Braxton Tramel might have the inside track at ECU Baseball's third base job, as a switch-hitter with with power, plate discipline and good defensive instincts. The 5-foot-10, 218-pounder is a tank with big, powerful legs, and he shrinks the zone with a deep crouch in the box.

After talks with God, my Family, and my coaches I have decided to enter the transfer portal with 3 years of eligibility remaining. Extremely blessed for my time here at UNCG. INF EV:107 (In Game) 60 time: 6.91 828-270-5559 Cody Ellis Grant Rembert, CSCS
