Fully agree with Thursday Murder Club author Richard Osman about #IndieBookshopWeek. Please pay homage to your local #IndependentBookshop if you can this week. I know I will be revisiting Dormouse Books, Belper on Saturday. 🦦📚

Having grown up enjoying these books and the CITV series running between 1995 and 1997, and looking forward to revisiting them for the blog, certainly interested to see how this turns out. 🦦📚 geektown.co.uk/2023/06/26/the…

How lovely of Robin Ince to recall his visit to my most local #IndieBookshop - Dormouse Books, Belper, which occurred last month in his latest Big Issue column. Shame I didn't get a chance to see him that day, but continuously thankful for his warmth and support. 🦦📚

Despite a tough day of travelling, I was grateful to visit both The Last Bookshop & @bookhaus2 in #Bristol yesterday. Also was able to buy Bernard and Pat after seeing Robin Ince's Instagram reel about this title earlier this week. Both shops are worth a visit. Full review TBC.🦦📚

Thoroughly loved Adventures in Exeter - Bibliomaniac with Robin Ince: Episode 1, which is available on the The Cosmic Shambles Network YouTube channel as of this evening ahead of a busy Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the broadcaster, writer & comedian. #WholesomeWatching for all 🦦📚 youtube.com/watch?v=7sY-DB…

July has been a busy month of purchasing books for me - I have no regrets. Sadly still waiting for an appropriate time to design, develop and launch the blog but thankful to all who continue to support this project as we head into the eighth month of 2023. 🦦📚

Indeed, continuing to engage in tsundoku while I steadily get a rhythm in my life to let this project take more presence in my life. Certainly thankful to all remaining to support my determination to make this project happen, and I hope it will be worth it in the end. 🦦📚

This is a brilliant piece about Bluemoose Books. Always keen to see #IndependentPublishers get the recognition they deserve. Looking forward to writing a deep dive into this company when the blog launches. 🦦📚 theguardian.com/books/2023/aug…

I look forward to having #Bournville by @jonathancoe in my #TBR pile when I get my hands on the paperback at the end of next week, as I thoroughly enjoyed the #TheRottersClub trilogy. 🦦📚

*squeaks excitedly* I am delighted to receive Hazel Prior' fourth book. I cannot wait to get my paws around this title and enjoy it; however, I am still determining when that will be due to life's hecticness. Thanks for continuing to support me, though! 🦦📚

Time is running out to stop a catastrophe due to a lack of climate action. It is also running out if you wish to join me in getting your name in Natalie Bennett's #ChangeEverything book from @unbounders. You've got until midnight tomorrow to do so. ⌛️ 🦦📚 unbound.com/books/change-e…

To commemorate #BookshopDay, I reflect on my recent retail therapy experiences at Kemptown Bookshop & @CityBooksinHove, which I did last weekend while in Brighton. Full reviews of these wonderful #IndependentBookshops and why you should visit them will be on the blog at a TBC 🦦📚

A fantastic piece celebrating #IndieBookshops written by freelance journalist Nell Card for the The Observer Magazine today. I look forward to championing many independent bookshops when I launch this blog next year. 🦦📚 Do you have a favourite? #BookTwitter theguardian.com/books/2023/dec…
