Using loose parts in our Grade 5/6 French Immersion class Ellesmere-Statton PS to make examples of stigmatization for our frayer model. Learners created, documented and wrote about their example of stigmatization in our society.

Had a great discussion around documentation at our book club after school today. Lots of questions around how to observe for long enough when also supporting students & needs in the classroom. Great to hear so many wonders & so much sharing! ❤️

So excited to see how Teacher Created Materials will lead the way through play-based approaches. Thank you for allowing us to share our love and passion for play.

Another great Book Club discussion today especially around worksheets and limiting numbers in different classroom areas (eg, at the blocks). We can all come with different views. I particularly love the dialogue and the exploration of the “why” behind our choices. ❤️
