fallout 4 survival mode is a revelation. suddenly all the junk and settlement mechanics make sense and are necessary. you become fully engaged and immersed. it’s almost as if the game was initially made with survival mode in mind before making it more casual and convenient.

Once you get into survival mode and start to explore the map more instead of using the fast travel, the game feels more detailed. Even without being able to manually save, Sleep on the any bed or place a bed at any settlement to avoid illnesses. Its honestly the best mode
