Although the fireplace is marble, it was just too plain looking for my taste. So a few vintage plastic mouldings stuck on with Blue Tack made it grander.

I have just finished restoring this antique candelabra. I repaired the broken arm with Milliput putty. The candle holders were missing so I used 2 from an old wall light. It is all made of pewter, so gold paint is the best option.

I have just finished creating these fire dogs. I made them from legs from an antique table or something. I made some wooden bases and added more decoration on top of their heads. I made their teeth and other missing pieces with Milliput putty.
