We need to end homelessness with homes. That's why we welcome Angela Rayner's promise to parliament that the Government will introduce meaningful housing targets for social and affordable homes. This will help ensure everyone has a safe, secure home.

"I’d go even further by stating the obvious. JD Vance, in reality, is only pick for Vice President of the United States because he happens to tick the relevant identity boxes that according to the modern right need to be ticked. Man? Tick. White? Tick. Sociopath? Tick."

Agree with this. Don't have any data but feels like while football will always be king, there's a huge amount of space for a team sport to estalblish itself in second across the Spanish speaking world. Unlike America, where that market is really crowded.

The Olympics coverage is another example of things just getting worse. Used to be able to watch basically any sport you wanted. Now thanks to the Warner deal you're stuck with 1/2 sports...

For the love of God, literally 30 seconds left of France v Brazil left in the basketball and the BBC decide to cut away to a generic recap of the days highlights?!?

The APPG for Ending Homelessness has been re-formed after its inaugural meeting this morning. We elected officers, welcomed new members and heard from Manoel, a Lived Experience Campaigner, on why the APPG matters and the solutions we know can #EndHomelessness

This headline is such a classic example of how hegets away with it. There's no focus on what this decision says about his homophobia or racism. It's just all court politics, whose up, whose down in the land of the Puce King.

Given we have no evidence Paddington applied for a visa prior to travel and Peru is a safe third country the Home Office is clearly violating its own rules here.

“It is unjustifiable that people who are sleeping rough, and having to move between night buses, doorways and 24-hour cafes to keep warm, could also be fined or prosecuted just for trying to stay safe." Matt Downie, Crisis CEO. bigissue.com/news/housing/v…

If you are sleeping rough, you can still be fined up to £1,000 under the Vagrancy Act. This is unjustifiable in 21st century Britain. What’s going on!? 🧵 1/7

Great to see APPG for Ending Homelessness member Deirdre Costigan MP raising families facing & experiencing the worst forms of homelessness with the Prime Minister today. We look forward to working with the Government to get Britain back on track to ending homelessness.
