After 37yrs of dedicated service, we say goodbye and thank you to our ‘On Call’ brother WM Mike Higginson. ‘Higgy’ has served the community of Bodmin and has been instrumental in the development of many Firefighters throughout his career. Enjoy retirement mate, you deserve it! 👏🏻

Had reports of adder sightings on the moor recently. This one seen on Sunday. Keep dogs on leads. If your dog is bitten carry it to prevent poison spread and get to a vet. Humans seek medical assistance. Best advice watch where you tread & PLEASE leave these shy creatures alone.

It's 4.17am. I have just left Bodmin and Delabole fire crews still dealing with a large fire at Roughtor. Once again putting themselves at risk over difficult terrain to prevent fire spreading. Thank you Bodmin Community Fire Station Delabole Community Fire Station

Bodmin Moor appreciates the increased presence of DC Rural Affairs team promoting road safety especially now lambs, foals and calves are out enjoying the freedom of the moor. Please drive with care and slow down when passing livestock. #copsonthecommons

We're saying baa-bye to livestock incidents on the A30 🐑 Over 200 incidents relating to livestock straying onto the busy road were recorded last year. With Devon & Cornwall Police and Bodmin Moor Commons we've funded 4 portable electric road signs to try to reduce the number of crashes into animals
