💰⚖️Big change. Coins used to be worth the value of the metal they were made of. Sweden had little silver, so it minted its coins from less valuable copper. Their high-value coins were the size of dinner plates. 🍽️ #FridayFunFact

🐚🌍The well-travelled mollusc. As currency, cowry shells were a great success. They were durable, portable, universally recognizable, nearly impossible to counterfeit and remained a viable trading tool for thousands of years. #SaturdayArtifact
