Candle test using nxExplosiaFX - the new smoke and fire solver from INSYDIUM NeXus. The drafty air is creating using a procedurally animated GPU turbulence force. Rendered in Redshift. INSYDIUM

Messing with the new turbulence modifier available in the current INSYDIUM NeXus beta. It enables the stacking, mixing and blending of multiple turbulence layers. INSYDIUM

Another test with new NeXus liquids tools from INSYDIUM. Nice sheeting and surface tension here. I played around with a speed ramp on the cached particles to slow it down to a freeze. INSYDIUM

This is a new GPU splash modifier that works with the NeXus liquids tools for highly directable crown splashes. Choose the number of spikes and adjust the shape and length with bezier handles. This and all the new features I've been testing will be out in December. INSYDIUM

Here's a NeXus fire sim using a spinning spline to sim from. It uses a setting called Motion Gap Fill which avoids stepping in the emission - also makes the motion inheritance from spline to fluid more accurate. Very low-res sim upscaled 4 times to 500m voxels. INSYDIUM

It’s here! Can’t wait to see what you do with these amazing new tools from INSYDIUM. As well as all of the GPU fluids stuff I’ve been showing, there’s also a whole suite of procedural animation tools called Jidou. Check out Mike’s in-depth walkthrough here youtu.be/wfxpWHxZypQ?si…
