The latest glimpse at our behind-the-scenes Paper Tiger Factor (PTF), which evalulates past performances this college hoops season to determine which teams have performed better vs. stronger opponents and which teams have performed better vs. weaker ones. Top-75 teams included.

Boise State the most suspect of the bunch vs. good opponents. If you sort by performance, six of their best seven efforts this season came vs. teams ranked 179th or worse. Conversely, 10 of their worst 11 performances came against teams in our top-100.

UNLV, also out of the MWC, is on the opposite end of the spectrum. Four of their top seven performances this year came against teams in our top-40, while six of their worst eight occurred against teams ranked #142 or worse.
