Absolutely gassed to have run a sub - 4 (3:59:44 lol) at the Steyning Stinger this weekend. It’s a brutal course; 900m elevation + tough terrain (course record is 3:25) and I had a much less than ideal prep. Excited to see what I can do on the road later this year✌🏻

The UKRI PhD stipend will increase by 2.9% for next year. When compared to inflation which is already at 6.2% and set to hit 8% by June, this amounts to a real terms pay cut for PhD students of about £1200. This is completely inexcusable in the middle of a cost of living crisis.

400km of running in 30 hours with the best crew. Poland/Germany border ➡️ Hel peninsula. One of the more insane things I’ve done, can’t wait for next year. #BorderToHel
