There are lots of things to like about the new Frankenstein film but one thing I especially enjoyed were the Edinburgh locations. They really contribute to the chilly, Gothic vibe of the movie.

New movies coming out thick and fast. I’ve enjoyed Bugonia, Predator: Badlands and Die My Love over the last week or so. Tonight it’s Nuremberg and hopefully I can get to The Running Man and Keeper next week.

look, i'm exhausted by trade publications and their need to only talk about the merit of a movie by its box office but it is truly horrifying to me that a TRADE PUBLICATION doesn't know the difference between a "reboot" and a new adaptation.

Always disturbs me when people come on to X or Threads to tell us that they’re not enjoying a movie, TV series or book and ask “Is it just me?” Feels pointless and negative. I’m more interested in hearing about the good stuff.

Liverpool’s shocking decline this season shows how little the pundits really know. Almost all were predicting they’d be invincible after their numerous pre-season signings. I’m a Palace fan but I genuinely hope they can turn it around.
