I'm four teams into my first deep look at 2025-26 NBA teams. This is an annual process. I can already see that the Raptors have a chance to be good again. A healthy five of Quickley, Barrett, Ingram, Barnes, and Poeltl should win a fair amount in the weakened East.

Tonight's NBA thought. I'd be worried about the Suns defense if I was in charge there. One of the metrics I like to lean on for measuring team defense shows the Suns being among the worst in main five players, and second five as well.

I'm 1/3 of the way through deep looks at #NBA rosters (as they stand) for 2025-26. To recap things that stand out: Toronto may be surprisingly good. Phoenix defense looks sketchy. And add, Wizards lack of traditional Center size is curious to me.

I didn't realize how drastically Portland's efficiency fluctuated last season w/ different guys in the lineup. Jerami Grant's net rating was minus 6.1 points per 100 possessions. Yet when he played he was getting 32.4 mins per game. They could fix that and be soooo much better.
