An amazing event on solstice:Jupiter, about 500 mil. miles away and Saturn about 1 billion miles away appear from earth aligned closer than they have since 1289. We look across our solar system to see them! This gives us the feeling of our home in our solar system and universe.

On this 50th anniversary, all due respect, gratitude and celebration of the first woman to officially win the Boston Marathon: Nina Kuscsik! Prior to 1972, when the AAU accepted Nina’s petition, no woman could officially run a marathon in the United States.
