Had an enjoyable, far ranging conversation w/ sue stagemeyer today - talked about national/intl underlying forces affecting the economy.

As this week's D.C. trip comes to a close, I wonder... can we move beyond political divisive debate to a meaningful dialogue of discovery?

None of the challenges we face can be solved without a real dialogue.

I think that's what Einstein was getting at when he said "We shall require a substantially new manner of thinking if mankind is to survive"

Yesterday was the equinox - I was wondering if any of that balance would influence our public discourse, moving us from debate to dialogue

The Heinz Award is very humbling. It is something everyone in the movement should know they are part of. So many have given so much.

I think of the people at USGBC, AIA, New Orleans, Greensburg, and so many others who have moved the conversation forward & brought change

Let's keep the dialogue going!

Reading DOWN TO THE WIRE by David Orr. http://tw0.us/2Ue This is one of the most informative books on the climate collapse I have read.

I am excited about the individual ideas and projects around the globe I have been seeing lately.

One example that comes to mind is the City/College of Oberlin's partnership to create a post-carbon economy.
