They need the £7mn from the Lottery. The Lottery is saying that we gave Bath £6.5mn for the Cleveland Pools and even if that wasn't a disaster - it is still a place for the posh. We cant give you another £7mn to build a tourist attraction - have you ever been up North?

Along with how £7m of public and private funding can be allowed to lie dormant for so long. Who could possibly afford a £7m mortgage and do absolutely nothing with the property for 18 mths +. Every day there is a huge cost ratcheting up on this 😖

Earlier in the interview, Wera protests her expulsion from HK by declaring that she hasn't said much about China and isn't even a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPG) on China. True. But she is Vice-Chair of the APPG for Tibet Does somebody want to tell her?

Without that it is impossible to go forward in an informed way. If it were human error then (if)the white elephant ever recovers clearly dual control of some functions is key

Yet another U-turn from Keir Surrender: he’s agreed to scrap the entire PIPs section of the welfare bill. The backbench rebels have humiliated him.

It looks like it’s going to be an interesting couple of months for The Boss. The Sydney Place LTN increasingly looks like it’s going to end up in court. A new (damming) forensic report into the 2019 eligibility shenanigans has been handed into the authorities, & we have Telford.

I witnessed the collision on the 1st of December 2020 I informed the senior council officers and local Cllrs and they did nothing at all to claim for the damage. Bath Preservation Trust won’t get involved this is a listed building this is shameful no one cares .. it’s only Combe down

It's PMQs. Here we go again... '£22bn black hole' 'Finances on a firm footing' '14 years of the Tories' 'Fixing the foundations' 'I will take no lectures' Keir Starmer won't answer a single question. Complete waste of time.

“Let’s ban new oil and gas licences in the North Sea but spaff away £40billion buying North Sea oil and gas from Norway. Let’s buy coking coal shipments worth £7.2million from Japan but ban UK coal mining. Let’s plaster thousands of acres of farmland with solar panels but spend

Our Council surveyed businesses in Bath about changing the time they put their bins out. Massive 93% did not support the collection time change from 5pm~8:45pm to 6pm~8pm. Guess what Starting in September the bins will be collected 6pm~8pm.

The reason for the objection was clear - businesses can't put their bins out early, and so firms will need to pay someone to hang around for an extra hour. This is the Bathnes' own maths on how much the change in collection times will cost a typical business - £3k!:
