🥳We’re thrilled to hear that Exa-cel has been made available to patients with thalassaemia! Exa-cel, also known as Casgevy, is the first CRISPR therapy to be approved for use by the NHS, and provides a ‘functional cure’ for people unable to have a stem cell transplant.
