BmoreEdchat Kyair #BmoreEdChat A1. I pick up morsels of knowledge from music conferences, whether in person or virtually. I also enjoy scanning blogs and listening to podcasts from my favorite music clinicians.
Shout out to moderator & upkeeper & tonight’s host Kyair for chatting with us and sharing resources about knowledge building! Next week (5/1) we have Kim Butler hosting talking about the importance of interdisciplinary units and we are thrilled for this topic! #BmoreEdChat

A3: Ask any student what they learned “today” and it will be knowledge related most often. They don’t remember working on “main idea”. The kids KNOW and are our barometer. #BmoreEdChat
A2: more and more, this feels imperative. I also appreciate Hugh Catts explanations abt reading comprehension and knowledge. #BmoreEdChat
A3. I think it has to be the foundation of what we do, from planning to executing the lesson. We need to give our students the time to build, connect rebuild and repeat. #BmoreEdchat
BmoreEdchat Kyair #bmoreedchat I am always taking classes & networking with fellow science teachers to add to my content area.
