Koalas had a lot of fun this afternoon investigating air resistance.

The children have been digging the raised beds and planting bulbs ready for some colour in spring.

Giant Pandas are loving their golf topic in PE this half term. We've worked on 'putting' and this week are focusing on 'chipping'. Everyone has worked really hard on the skills learnt and have also cheered each other on - it's been great to see⛳🏌️

Our School Councillors have done a fantastic job today decorating our Christmas tree at Beverley Minster. Well done to everyone who has helped make it look amazing!

Another good haul of potatoes today. Year two were very helpful digging them up and planting bulbs for spring. We even managed to plant some rhubarb.

Our sports leaders have worked with the The SSP East Riding to get some extra training to help with their leadership skills. Everyone was brilliant - they learnt some new activities and strategies and showed some great improvements in their confidence. Super job everyone!

Year 4 had their half termly workshop on their mental health today. We recapped the 5 ways to wellbeing and today focused on 'connect'. Their mission is to connect with nature by doing some activities in nature, such as taking a mindful walk🌳

Giant Pandas had a very messy morning today learning all about the different parts of the digestive system! It was great fun but with lots of learning too, well done everyone🍌🍫

Koalas have been doing lots of hands-on science. Last week we looked at water resistance and this week, the friction of different surfaces.

Thank you to all of the entries for our 'Bling Your Bike and Scooter' Christmas event this week. It was a difficult choice for our travel ambassadors as all were amazing, imaginative and inventive designs! They brought a lot of Christmas cheer!

Thank you to everyone who came to our Christmas service at Beverley Minster on Tuesday evening. All the singing, acting, poetry and artwork was fantastic and our choir also sung beautifully - what a special event! Well done to everyone involved🎄✨️🎶

Giant Pandas had their first dodgeball lesson for the half term today, focusing on dodging. Everyone is very excited for this topic!

Giant Pandas began their orienteering topic this week and took on the challenge of spelling out words that linked to our class by navigating the grid on the playground. They all showed fantastic teamwork and determination!
