Why do some super-talented athletes fail at the next level? Lack of mental toughness. No amount of talent can overcome being weak-minded. Train your mind as you training your body.

The vast majority of athletes will be done playing sports well before the age of 25 which is less than 1/3 of the average life expectancy of all Americans; therefore it’s imperative that all athletes look beyond the stadium and arena lights. Academics Matter!!! #Ap2w

If your friends are pressuring you to make bad choices you can’t be afraid to say NO. Take control of YOUR life and don’t forget misery loves company!

4 things I’ve NEVER heard a college coach say: 1. Grades don’t really matter 2. Wish they only played one sport 3. I don’t care about character... As long as they can play 4. I’d like to talk with their personal trainer, or “elite” 7v7 coach before we offer

Every year that I come to MLB Spring Training and see professional baseball players up close and personal it reminds me of one thing... Baseball players LIFT WEIGHTS incredibly hard both in and out of season! These guys are absolutely jacked both upper and lower bodies!

Just got back from Tony Franklin Seminar. Outstanding job of teaching offensive football! Thanks to Tony and Tyler Boyles.

You can always excel at the things that take no talent. You may not be able to control your height, weight, speed, jumping ability or strength, but you’re in complete control of your attitude, work ethic, mentality, habits and discipline. #Ap2w

YES!!! Playing multiple sports trains different muscles, pushes kids in different ways, and gives them a break from the others so they don’t burn out. People who only allow their kid to play 1 sport or push only 1 sport while criticizing other sports are selfish!

Want SERIOUS offers?! Get serious about your gpa! Get serious about training! Get serious about your diet! Get serious about recovery! Get serious about being coachable! Get serious about being a great teammate! Get serious about competing in all you do!

Parents..if you have a problem with your kids HS coach, check these boxes before complaining. 1. Does my kid spend 10 hrs a week doing extra work? 2. Does my son pound the weights? 3. Does my son want this as bad as me? 4. Has my son performed? 5. Does my son compete in practice

TRANSFERRING OF BLAME When we place BLAME for our failures, we rarely have the desire to work harder because ITS NOT OUR FAULT. OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH is directly related to where you place the blame for your lack of PERFORMANCE. Be HONEST in the mirror!

Mathematics for ALL athletes: 1. Miss 1-2 workouts, you (and your coaches), will know it. 2. Miss 3-5 workouts, your teammates will know it. 3. Miss 6 or more workouts, and your opponents will know it! Coach Hines 🇺🇸

When I speak to college athletes I tell them 20 years from now you’re not going to wish you would have spent more time on social media or played more Fortnite or partied more. 20 years from now you’ll wish you would have devoted yourself to being the best you can be.

Coach Tony Dungy is exactly right. There are a great number of coaches at all levels of football/sports that know how to coach discipline, toughness & intensity but do it in a Positive way. Leading from a place of Love for their players and not by using demeaning or bad language

In my interview with Tim Scott, he said to me, “As a born again believer, I'm driven by the gospel of Jesus Christ, so I don't look for a black solution or a white solution or a blue solution. I look for a God solution. “www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/2020/j…

“Tough players can take criticism without feeling the need to talk back or give excuses. Tough players project confidence with their body language. Tough players go as hard as they can for as long as they can. Tough players are great teammates.” (Jay Bilas)
