Is it "We Need More Black Women Streamers" or You need to Support More Black Women Streamers?

Expedition 33 is good. It's fantastic. It's my personal game of the year. It is an absolutely stellar product. One that also attracted an incredibly loud fanbase of people who never played a JRPG before comparing it to a genre they haven't invested themselves in.

Which is a shame because, as the article I retweeted says, the director is a fan of those games, and their DNA is EVERYWHERE. I see Final Fantasy VI, VIII, and IX. I see Dark Souls 1. I see Persona 3. I see SMT IV. I see Chrono Trigger. I see Digital Devil Saga. I see Mario RPG.

The problem with a portion of Expedition's fanbase is not only are they wrong, but they're loud. They are a loud minority in a sea of people celebrating the game. And their voices are the ones drowning out the recommendation for a lot of JRPG fans.

And, regarding the loud minority: this isn't the first time this has happened. I remember when P5 was touted as the "savior of a dead genre" just like Expedition 33 is now. For many, it was either a gateway to the genre (like me), or it rekindled their love for it.

I more so think they just used it to make him switch his style and differentiate himself from all might with shoot style. It was a danger that help him evolve who he was. I don’t think he was ever gonna permanently lose his arms

The fact that some folks think once a streamer gets partner they don’t need support like others do is crazy. You can’t be on here saying we need bigger black women streamers and in the same breath saying partner streamers don’t need the support or mentions

“The game awards always gotta have a Nintendo game for game of the year” it didn’t have a game nominated last year. Playstion isthe only company to have a game nominated every year for game of the year at the game awards.

I just always found it funny that the same people who say, we need more big black content creators sometimes be the same ones that feel they don’t need to support a partnered streamer anymore because “they made it”

Because half the people instalocking never play strategist and that’s what people keep running into. Playing gambit right you will have hella heals and assist
