It has been wonderful to welcome all our pupils back for what is going to be a very busy few months. We would like to introduce you to our new Head Girl, Victoria and Head Boy, Jacob. We're sure that they will do both the school and their peers proud over the coming term.

We are very lucky to have a wonderful in-house catering team who keep us all very well-fed at the Prep School. Earlier this term, our Yr 3 families were able to enjoy some of their creations when they joined their children in the school hall for a delicious afternoon tea & tour!

The children in Yrs 3-6 have enjoyed two fascinating enrichment sessions so far this term. Last week, Mr Moore, Head of History Blundell's School , talked about the ‘Role of the Monarchy’. This week, Mr Morrison, Head of Physics, came to share his passion for rockets. 🚀

Confucius once said that 'Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without'. It was certainly the case that the audience at our first Tea Time Concert of the year very much enjoyed hearing over 30 children from across Years 3 to 6 perform yesterday. 🎶

Thank you to all of our pupils for throwing themselves into the spirit of 'Children in Need' yesterday by bringing in donations for wearing home clothes and for the cake sale. Some fabulous outfits were on display and lots of money was raised for Pudsey in the process.

We were treated to not 1 but 2 Tea Time Concerts this week with Yrs 3-4 taking to the stage on Wednesday, followed by Yrs 5-6 on Thursday. These concerts offer pupils the opportunity to perform to friends and family in a relaxed setting. #musicaltalent #confidence #performance

Yesterday, as our Kindness and Tolerance week drew to a close, we were thrilled to welcome Monitors from Blundell's School to talk to the pupils about the importance of being kind to yourself as well as others. It was lovely to welcome back Lucie, Ben and Clem. #rolemodels

Next term, our Yr 6 pupils will start their Blundell's Adventure Leadership and Service Awards which will include the children taking on challenges and learning new skills. On Friday, they had the opportunity to put that into practice as they spent the day in Circus Workshops.

It's definitely starting to feel a lot like Christmas at Blundell's Prep. An enormous number of mince pies have been consumed and last week Year 3 took great delight in helping Mr Southgate decorate the beautiful tree delivered by our Grounds Team. #tradition #christmas🎄

It wasn't just the Pre-Prep that were taking to the stage last week. On Wednesday the children in Yr 3 and 4 shone as they took to the stage to perform their Christmas production 'A Fireside Nativity' to a packed hall of friends and family. #brilliantblundellians #christmasplay
