Boarded our flight with no issues. Now being told my chair may not be accepted onboard coz of the power assist wheels, which the airline have known about since booking the flight and requesting assistance. Ground staff now checking if the proof I have provided is acceptable 😤

Finally got my documentation returned and have had to sign some paperwork, but I have approval for my wheelchair to be boarded. Thank fuck!

Despite nearly being denied my wheelchair on the plane, and an issue with the lapstrap being jammed in my wheel by the ground crew (how they managed that is unfathomable), we have made it to Tenerife, where everywhere seems very hilly, but very hot! Cerveza por favor!

Negotiated a steep ramp, backwards, then got a bit stuck making it on to the boardwalk, but I have made it on the beds (actual beds) on the beach. Beyond happy now ⛱️⛱️⛱️
