The State House rotunda has been blocked off ahead of Governor Dan McKee's State of the State address just as Black Lives Matter RI PAC was planning a "People's State of the State" event

Before the State of the State Black Lives Matter RI PAC is holding the " People’s State of the State" where some sharing their experience.

The protestors are currently marching on a circular path around the first floor of the State House and chanting as the governor delivers his State of the State in the House chamber. "The more you try to silence us the louder we will be," they are saying now
