Today we're grateful for hiking, and for the view you get at the top of the mountain, or the end of the trail. And for that wonderful feeling of accomplishment when you get there 🥾

Today we're grateful for biking! For the feeling of the wind blowing in your face as you fly down the trail, and the way you feel the land through the handle bars while you take in the view 🚵

Happy Find Seymour Friday! Like everyone, Seymour is spending this week with his family. Expect he didn't eat turkey. Because that would be weird.

DYK: Don't tear down empty bird nests in fall; they can still provide shelter for other birds in winter!🪹 They can also contain parasites/disease risky for humans Landlords: wait until late summer/early fall to clean out birdhouses Renters🐦: spaces available for winter!

The fields around the BLM's Roswell Field Office are in the holiday spirit with this Desert Holly blooming on BLM land near the Roswell airport. Botanist: It's not uncommon for plants to bloom twice a year, especially with all the rain the area received this year.
