Literally all I do as an IR doctor: Yes, I can biopsy that Yes, I can get you IV access Yes, I can stop that bleeding Yes, I can dissolve that clot Yes, I can ablate that tumor Yes, I can shrink your prostate No, I can't really explain what an interventional radiologist is.

Complex #FilterOut Friday! Leveling up snare game with @IrBrainy. He used to be a basketball player with a mean bank shot... 1 strut embolized to sub-sub-sub seg PA. Decision made to leave. 6 weeks post long segment SFA CTO revascularization. It's alive! Only problem now is the family doesn't want to bring him in for wound checks because "he's healing." I guess this is a good problem to have...🙌🤔 #CLIFighters
